Job summary

Northside Hospital in Georgia seeks a Registered Nurse to independently plan and deliver professional nursing care per physician orders and established guidelines. The RN must hold a Georgia license, be in good standing, and maintain BLS certification.

Preferred qualifications include a BSN degree and about two years of RN experience, with additional Life Support credentials or clinical specialties valuable for specific units.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• BSN degree preferred and two years RN experience recommended.
• Additional life support credentials or clinical specialty certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently plans and provides professional nursing care per physician orders and guidelines.
• Operates within the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
• Maintains clinical standards and contributes to patient care across units.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES, LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:
