Nationwide Children\'s Hospital in Columbus, OH seeks a registered nurse to support patient care across nights and days on a 4‑10 hour shift pattern. The role emphasizes family-centered care, safety, and advocacy, with on-call responsibilities for some weekends and holidays.

Schedule: Non-traditional D/N hours (Approx. 6 weeks of nights / 18 weeks of days), (4) 10‑hour shifts. On call required in addition to full‑time hours for some weekends, holidays, and weeknights. 30‑minute response time required while on call. Minimum pay rate: $36.90/hr. Start dates will be between August–October.
Assists patients to move rapidly, uneventfully, and as effectively as possible through their episode of care while maintaining quality and safety as a priority. Delegates, directs, oversees, and provides developmentally appropriate patient care. Practices professional nursing and promotes patient advocacy in accordance with the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses and maintains a current Ohio Nursing License.
BSN; Associate degree with commitment to obtain BSN within 5 years of hire.
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
Current CPR certification required. Must be willing to obtain and maintain NRP, PALS, ACLS, APHON or other necessary certification as determined by your manager based on business unit.
