Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to lead nursing operations on a unit and supervise staff within a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

In the absence of the Unit Manager or Director, you may assume 24-hour responsibility. The role emphasizes patient safety, clinical excellence, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams at Northside Hospital in the Atlanta area.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Three (3) years experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty OR
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing with two (2) years of experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty.

Responsibilities

• The Clinical Supervisor leads the nursing operations of a unit and supervises staff.
• In the absence of the Manager or Director, may assume 24-hour nursing responsibility.
• Works with a unit-specific patient population.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Three (3) years experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty OR

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing with two (2) years of experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty.

• Current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Compact (NLC/eNLC) or Multistate license
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.

PREFERRED:

• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.

Work Hours:

7pm-7am
