Qorvo, Inc. is seeking a Switch/LNA/RF IC Design Engineer to develop GaAs/SOI/SiGe/CMOS based switches and LNAs for Front End Modules. The role supports multiple locations including AZ, CA, FL, IA, MA, NC, OR and TX, with production readiness responsibilities.

Candidates should have a BSEE or MSEE, 6+ years of RF IC design, Cadence/ADS/HFSS experience, laminates design, and strong RF measurement skills (VNA, spectrum analyzers). The posted salary range is substantial for the market.

Qualifications

• BSEE is required, MSEE preferred.
• 6+ years of RF switch/RF IC design experience.
• Experience simulating GaAs/SiGe/Silicon/CMOS switches/LNA/RF ICs in Cadence and Agilent ADS.
• Experience designing laminates for switch/RF IC evaluation and characterization.
• Hands-on RF measurement skills with VNA and spectrum analyzers; trouble-shooting measurement issues.

Responsibilities

• Define and design switch/LNA/RF ICs with internal and external module teams.
• Produce and validate designs using HFSS, Cadence, and ADS.
• Conceptualize, layout, evaluate, and transfer to production.
• Design laminates to support switch characterization and development.
• Guide production test plans for volume manufacturing and yield optimization.
• Provide feedback to modeling/tool providers to improve design software.
