Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Sr. Principal RF Hardware Subsystem Integration and Test Engineer to lead RF/microwave test activities, model performance, and integrate test benches. This role requires a current Active Secret Clearance and willingness to travel.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop novel RF solutions, and support customer action requests on site. Strong expertise in RF/microwave disciplines and MATLAB/C++ is essential.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required.
• Active U.S. Government Secret clearance and the ability to obtain SAP.
• Experience with RF/microwave test ranges and antenna range integration.
• Proficiency with RF test equipment including network analyzers, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
• Proficiency in MATLAB, Visual Basic, and C++.
• Travel up to 10% to support customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Subsystem analysis from RF to digital hardware and performance modeling.
• Support for RF/system test benches and on-site troubleshooting.
• Lead integration of test benches into larger architectures with repeatable setups.
• Contribute to IRAD activities and test approach development.
• Work under consultative direction toward long-range goals.
