Job summary

Qorvo is seeking a Staff RF Design Engineer in Colorado to advance mmWave phased array prototype designs for defense and aerospace applications. You will model RF components, develop design tools, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive cost, performance, and schedule goals.

The role requires a BSEE or equivalent with 2+ years of related experience and hands-on experience with AWR, CST or HFSS, plus Python scripting for automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (BSEE or equivalent) with a minimum of two+ years' experience.
• Experience using AWR, CST, and/or HFSS for RF/mmWave design.
• Experience testing RF and mmWave circuits, coupons, and systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with mmWave antenna, electrical, RF component, and PCB design engineers on prototype designs.
• Model RF and mmWave components, including PCB transitions and matching networks, using AWR, CST, or HFSS.
• Develop and maintain design tools and BOMs to support prototype builds and testing.
• Coordinate with PCB manufacturers and assembly shops for prototype arrays.
