Job summary

Qorvo, Inc. in Denver, CO seeks a Principal Test Engineer & Lab Manager to lead antenna lab operations, oversee assembly, bring-up, and testing of phased array RF hardware for defense & aerospace products.

You will partner with RF engineers and cross-functional teams to design test plans, manage lab facilities, and mentor staff in a fast-paced environment. A BS EE and 5+ years in phased array testing are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent.
• Deep knowledge of phased array systems, RF measurements, and automated testing.
• Experience testing active and passive antenna systems and RF/mmWave components.
• Understanding of RF test methods and calibration for network and spectrum analyzers.
• Experience coding with Python and OOP concepts.
• Experience leading engineering labs or technical teams and lab organization.
• Knowledge of circuit components used in phased array systems and transceivers.
• Strong communication and organization skills across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage antenna lab facilities, equipment, supplies, organization, and day-to-day test priorities.
• Maintain vector network analyzers, signal generators, chamber setups, positioners, calibration.
• Design and execute test plans for phased array antennas and RF hardware.
• Lead assembly, bring-up, troubleshooting, and testing with cross-functional support.
• Develop test procedures and train staff on test setup operations.
• Coordinate cross-functional testing schedules and priorities with multiple teams.
