About the job Staff Researcher IV: Applied Mathematician

Company Overview

Hexagon Lavish® , a subsidiary of its parent entity, The AntiArtificial Company , is a scientific research and development startup in Atlanta, Georgia. The company has now evolved into a small company that's devoted to utilizing "unorthodox" research methodologies and uncompromised use of mathematics and science.

DUBL ï (pronounced " double-eye ") will be a resultant product from the network platform, D.N.A. ( Distributional Network Application ). DUBL ï will be designed as software for immediate detection, distinction, classification, and analysis.

Position Overview

Hexagon Lavish® is a scientific research and development startup in Atlanta, Georgia that has an opening for a full-time/permanent position for an experienced staff researcher to work in the capacity of a Applied Mathematician.

The experienced staff researcher, working in the capacity of a Applied Mathematician , will engage heavily in developing advanced algorithms to be implemented for signature "motion" for the DUBL ï "mobile application" in addition to the gaming environment for the "temporary" website. This position will also be deeply-involved in development for consequential analysis, numerical modeling of the IRCs (informational return channels), time analysis, image processing, finite elements as well as Monte Carlo techniques that are applicable to [practical] execution on information structure and retrieval.

The experienced staff researcher, working in the capacity of a Applied Mathematician , will be working closely with the Biostatistician in orchestrating the informational libraries for DUBL ï detection, distinction, retrieval, and execution "motions" in association with the "mobile app" (if plausible).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Research topics and subject matter independently as well as in collaboration with other staff
  • Assist in developing and maintaining information sources
  • Provide support for execution of data analyses and assess the compatibility of existing and proposed statistical methods and analytical tools with project/study design and objectives
  • Provide actionable recommendations to resolve statistical/analytical issues
  • Provide statistical analysis and scientific writing to develop abstracts, manuscripts, presentations, etc.
  • Develop and review protocols, development of sampling plans, apply appropriate statistical methods to the analysis of program and project data, and implement statistical software applications
  • Develop, implement, and maintain best practices related to data collection, data management, and data analysis standards, protocols, and procedures
  • Contribute to the design and analysis of algorithms for mathematical optimization and machine learning, and to the modeling for complex design, decision, and inference problems
  • Collaborate in the development and application of software instantiations of numerical algorithms
  • Bring creative and innovative perspectives by proposing algorithmic approaches, models, and solutions
  • Document work and results in the form of journal papers and conference proceedings, and present work and results at scientific meetings and conferences
  • Develop and prove math models for games that demonstrate game probabilities and return to player via theoretical calculation and/or simulation
  • Develop an understanding of competitive products and technologies
  • Leverage knowledge of nonlinear dynamics, stochastic processes, and high-dimensional chaos to interpret and model brain-like systems
  • Address intricate challenges by using mathematical and computational methods to craft and refine neuromorphic models
  • Synthesize principles from topology, geometry, and abstract algebra to provide unique insights into complex system behavior and neural network architecture

CHARACTER PROFILE:

  • Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics, Computational Neuroscience, or closely related field, with significant academic work related to dynamical systems, complex systems, and chaos theory
  • Demonstrable understanding of a broad spectrum of mathematical disciplines, including but not limited to topology, abstract algebra, geometry, nonlinear dynamics, and stochastic processes
  • Proven track record of problem-solving through mathematical modeling and simulation, particularly regarding complex, chaotic, or dynamic systems
  • Exceptional collaborative and communication skills, bridging complex mathematical concepts with interdisciplinary informational research needs
  • Teamwork and the ability to clearly communicate complex ideas
  • Apply safety-related knowledge, skills, and practices to mundane duties and responsibilities to work

PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS:

  • Contribute to the statistical endeavors of the company's projects
  • Ability to form team consensus on design choices and execution plans
  • Strong analytical skills; experience interpreting strategic plans and changes in how services are delivered into a long-term sustainable operating model
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with an ability to communicate and work effectively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
