Job summary

Hex Technologies is hiring senior AI Research Engineers to partner with product teams and push the Notebook Agent and context engine forward. You will run experiments, fine-tune models, deploy AI infrastructure, and build experimentation tooling for thousands of users.

You’ll own 0-to-1 features, define architectures, and ship experiences that change how data scientists and analysts work in a modern, data-driven platform. Remote-friendly with hybrid office days in SF or NY.

Qualifications

• Experience getting AI/ML capabilities into production with real users.
• Strong interest in applying AI to business problems.
• Understanding of core MLOps/SW architecture concepts for modern ML-based apps.
• Ideal candidates have strong Infra focus within MLOps.
• Comfort with Python & JavaScript/TypeScript and openness to both.
• Demonstrated ability to ship reliable, well-tested features.

Responsibilities

• Build features from 0 to 1 and shape product experiences.
• Help determine architecture and stack for AI-enabled capabilities.
