Responsibilities

1. Perform patient assessments and reassessments regularly.
2. Conduct triage assessments rapidly during medical and traumatic emergencies.
3. Assess injury causation and report neglect or abuse as required.
4. Develop and implement care plans with interdisciplinary teams.
5. Verify, document, and administer medications properly.
6. Provide health education to patients and families with proper documentation.
7. Evaluate patient progress and document outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience as an RN.
• Associate’s degree in Nursing (ADN); Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current Texas RN license or Compact license (with Texas license obtained within 90 days).
• BLS certification; ACLS or ALS; PALS or ENCP; TNCC certifications as per policy.
