Job Description & Responsibilities

As an Emergency Department (ED) Registered Nurse (RN), you will perform patient assessments, develop care plans, and evaluate patient progress. You will collaborate with healthcare teams, perform triage assessments, and ensure proper documentation and medication administration. Providing health education to patients and families is also part of your role.

Qualifications
  • 1 year of clinical nursing experience as an RN
  • Associate’s degree in Nursing (ADN); BSN preferred
  • Current Texas RN license or Compact License (must obtain Texas license within 90 days if Compact)
  • BLS certification; ACLS or ALS certification; PALS or ENCP certification; TNCC certification (per healthcare policy)
