Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Staff Red Team Engineer to find weaknesses in our systems before field deployment. You will design, test, and analyze adversarial scenarios across aerospace, autonomy, and security domains with hands-on engineering experience.

You will embed with diverse engineering teams, break models, and stress-test trade studies to drive changes in design and decisions, ensuring mission success across space, missiles, and air systems.

Qualifications

• Top Secret clearance required.
• Hands-on experience in designing, building, and analyzing real engineering systems.
• Proven ability to find problems others miss via adversarial review or IV&V.
• Strong background in physics-math scripting (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink, Python).

Responsibilities

• Independently red-team designs, models, and analyses across programs.
• Build models and simulations to prove or break claims; develop tooling.
• Reconstruct and verify others' work to uncover errors.
• Collaborate with Systems, GNC, Software, Hardware, Mission Ops, and Test teams to translate findings into guidance.
• Apply hands-on systems-building to catch problems in analysis rather than in flight.
• Present complex results visually to engineers, leadership, and stakeholders.
