1X is building the core C++ infrastructure that powers its NEO brain and nervous system. You will own performance‑critical sensor pipelines, IPC layers, and high‑reliability libraries required for thousands of robots deployed in homes and warehouses.

The role demands 5+ years of shipping production C++ in latency‑sensitive environments, with a track record of profiling, benchmarking, and delivering clean interfaces that enable other teams to move faster and safer.

Competenze

• 5+ years shipping production C++ in performance‑critical systems: robotics, autonomous vehicles, HFT, game engines, OS/runtime, compilers, or HPC
• Demonstrated ability to profile, benchmark, and debug at the systems level: flamegraphs, perf counters, assembly inspection, and Linux kernel interfaces
• Proven track record of writing systems code with clean interfaces and deterministic behavior under load

Mansioni

• Own the foundational C++ infrastructure used by NEO’s brain and nervous system, ensuring speed, determinism, and reliability as we scale to thousands of robots
• Improve performance with measurable standards, benchmarking, flamegraphs, and regression tracking to catch latency/throughput drift before production
• Build the IPC and serialization layer connecting perception, planning, and actuation with lock‑free queues and shared memory buffers
• Ship foundational libraries that run reliably on thousands of robots in homes and warehouses
