Clearance required for start: Yes (Secret).
Travel: Yes, 10% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Accelerate delivery of capabilities by developing and using advanced models and simulations of platforms, sensors, weapons, and their interactions with the environment.
- Utilize MSE&A of advanced systems using C++ object-oriented design, advanced data structures, and test-driven development.
- Develop large-scale data analytics, probabilities, statistics, and design of experiment techniques for system and mission performance evaluation.
- Integrate MS&A with operational flight software, collect and analyze data from laboratory or flight tests, verify and validate simulation performance against flight test data, and formally verify that models meet specified requirements.
- Produce publication-quality reports that define the foundation for simulation credibility across all stakeholders and support formal Verification, Validation, and Accreditation (VVA).
- Innovate to solve problems and identify improvements across MSE&A products.
- Perform operational analysis and mission effectiveness analysis.
- Develop new and/or integrate existing system simulation frameworks, performance models and algorithms, threat models, and command and control models.
- Model operational environments, perform trade studies via computer simulation, and recommend alternative architectures.
- Simulate real-time operations and develop software that simulates behavior of systems.
- Develop, integrate, and use advanced graphical user interfaces and visualization tools.
Basic Qualifications
- Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field with Bachelor’s Degree and 12 years of experience, Master’s degree and 10 years, or Ph.D. and 8 years; an additional 4 years may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Current/active U.S. Government Secret clearance.
- Ability to obtain/maintain Special Access Program (SAP) access.
- Experience with C/C++, Python, Bash or C shell scripting on Linux and Windows.
- Domain experience in simulations of RF, EOIR, Communications or related systems.
- Experience with digital signal processing and complex valued signal data.
- Experience with analytical modeling using MATLAB.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degrees in Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Physics, Applied Mathematics or related field.
- Active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance or higher.
- Experience developing real-time or reactive simulation software.
- Experience with statistics, design of experiments, analytics, high performance computing.
- Experience validating radar modes, adaptive signal processing, optimal estimation theory.
- Understanding of Systems Engineering and Integration & Test processes.
- Experience with DPC, CUDA, OpenCL, Verilog, VHDL or other domain-specific languages.
- Experience with Agile and/or SAFe methodologies.
Compensation and Benefits
Primary Level Salary Range: $169,000.00 - $253,600.00. Benefits include health plan, savings plan, paid time off, education assistance, training and development, 9/80 work schedule (where available) and more.
