DoorDash, Inc. is seeking a Staff Quality Engineer in Fremont, CA, to establish and lead the quality program for a prototype robotic assembly line.

You will architect quality systems, supplier partnerships, and controls to transition from prototype to scalable production in a fast-paced hardware environment. You will drive supplier qualification, audits, PPAP alignment, CAPA, and MRB processes, collaborating with systems engineering to tie system risks to actionable factory-floor controls.

Qualificações

• 8+ years of quality engineering experience in hardware, robotics, automotive, aerospace, or similar electromechanical domains.
• Experience standing up supplier quality programs including qualification, audits, scorecards, and issue resolution.
• Designed and implemented quality control plans, inspection standards, and process controls for prototype/low-volume lines.

Responsabilidades

• Build end-to-end quality program for prototype robotic assembly line, including documentation, traceability, and control plans.
• Define quality standards and inspection criteria for parts and sub-assemblies.
• Establish and manage supplier quality function including audits, PPAP alignment, and supplier performance monitoring.
• Collaborate with systems engineering to derive PFMEAs and link system risks to process controls and mitigation steps.
• Develop inline quality controls including incoming and in-process inspections and end-of-line validation for prototypes.
• Lead MRB to disposition non-conforming material and drive CAPA.
• Partner with manufacturing, design, systems, and test to integrate quality requirements from concept to deployment.
• Support supplier visits and on-site investigations to ensure build quality and conformity to specs.
