Job summary

Rite-Hite is seeking a Staff Quality Engineer at our Horn Lake, MS facility to drive the quality management system across the organization. You will lead continuous improvement, audits, and corrective actions while partnering with Quality, Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain.

The role emphasizes problem solving, DFMEA/PFMEA involvement, PPAP readiness, and a proactive quality culture within a hybrid work environment with travel expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of progressive experience in quality engineering.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and QA methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Support development, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the corporate QMS.
• Develop and maintain quality policies, procedures, standards, templates, and operating requirements.
• Promote consistent quality practices across manufacturing sites in alignment with ISO 9001 and customer requirements.
• Lead or support risk-based internal audits and supplier audits.
• Provide technical leadership for complex quality issues and lead root-cause analyses (8D, DMAIC, 5 Why).
• Support containment, corrective actions, and effectiveness verification.
