Life.Church YouVersion is seeking a Staff Quality Engineer to champion QE across mobile, web, and services, driving automated testing and quality practices throughout the software lifecycle.

You will mentor teammates, design scalable QE frameworks, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver high-quality software aligned with Life.Church’s mission. This role emphasizes leadership, innovation, and a strong focus on quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in quality engineering or similar role.
• Hands-on with test automation across front-end, back-end, and services.
• Ability to lead quality initiatives and mentor others.
• Strong knowledge of QE methodologies and best practices.
• Experience embedding QA in the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain QE strategies across mobile, web and gaming platforms.
• Lead automated and manual test design and execution for functionality, performance, and security.
• Mentor team members and drive quality initiatives across cross-functional teams.
• Evaluate testing efforts and plan scalability of QE processes.
• Collaborate with leadership to align QE processes across teams.
