Job summary

YouVersion is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to lead quality across mobile and web Bible experiences. You will design test strategies, perform manual and automated testing, and advance test automation in collaboration with developers, product managers, and designers.

YouVersion will mentor other QE engineers, promote quality practices, and embed quality early in the development process to ensure releases meet engineering standards and mission-driven impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of quality engineering experience delivering high-quality software.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and multi-layer testing (front-end, back-end, services).
• Ability to lead quality initiatives and mentor other quality engineers.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive quality strategy across mobile and web Bible App experiences.
• Execute thoughtful manual and automated testing, including API/contract/integration tests.
• Lead QA for feature flags, experiments, and release health with measurable quality gates.
• Mentor QE engineers and promote continuous improvement of QE tools, frameworks, and processes.
