Zscaler is seeking a Staff Production Engineer to fortify the reliability of a global, multi-cloud platform. You will architect scalable infrastructure across AWS/Azure/GCP and drive an automation-first culture with self-healing systems.

You will lead observability initiatives, define SLIs/SLOs, and act as Incident Commander in a 24/7 on-call rotation, collaborating with engineering to improve operability and resilience across edge and cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging AI-driven solutions.
• 8+ years of experience managing reliability, scalability, and availability for large-scale production services with deep programming expertise (Python/Go/C/C++).
• Strong background in networking, Linux/FreeBSD, and distributed architectures.
• Experience in high-stakes incident management and 24/7 on-call rotation.
• Proficiency with ITIL frameworks and driving service maturity through operability reviews.

Responsabilités

• Design and implement highly available, scalable infrastructure across AWS, Azure, GCP, and bare-metal environments.
• Drive an automation-first culture by writing code to eliminate toil and build self-healing systems.
• Implement and maintain observability with Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry; define SLIs/SLOs and error budgets.
• Act as lead Incident Commander (TDO on-call) and develop incident response playbooks.
• Partner with engineering and other teams to conduct operability reviews.
