Reddit, Inc. is seeking a Staff Product Security Engineer to make the secure path the easiest path for engineers and AI agents. You will lead design and delivery of secure frameworks, guardrails, and workflow-native controls that prevent recurring vulnerabilities before production.

As AI-assisted development speeds up, you will close the gap with guardrails and automation while embedding security into developer workflows and guiding architecture across teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, product security, or application security.
• Proficiency in one or more languages (Go, Python, JS/TS).
• Experience building secure frameworks, libraries, or guardrails.

Responsibilities

• Build secure frameworks and guardrails to reduce vulnerabilities.
• Design security controls for AI-assisted development.
• Embed security into existing developer workflows.
• Drive security reviews for new launches and architectures.
• Identify and reduce systemic security debt.
• Shape strategy and drive execution across teams.
