In this role, you will focus on maximizing TPV per merchant and revenue growth through lifecycle/ELM, paid media, in-product, web, and sales enablement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 5–8+ years of experience in product marketing strategy and cross-functional execution.
  • Experience translating product capabilities into marketing claims and customer-facing messaging.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using multiple data sources to measure ROI.

Responsibilities

Job description

Our Global Business Solutions Group (GBSG) is seeking a Staff Product Marketing Manager to help drive growth across the Payments portfolio, targeting Small and Mid-Sized Business (SMB) customers across our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) structure.

This role will leverage product, customer research, monetization insights, and data science best practices to develop messaging and go-to-market strategies that position Payments as the preferred way for SMBs to get paid.

The Product Marketing Manager will focus on creating demand, driving attach and activation, increasing Total Payment Volume (TPV) per merchant, and ultimately growing Payments revenue across channels including lifecycle/ELM, paid media, in-product, direct mail, web, SEO/GEO, accountant, and sales.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Services ICP structure, translating ICP definitions such as Growing Invoicers, Switchers, Mid-Market, and Field Services into targeted audiences, messaging, and GTM motions.
  • Develop strategies and messaging based on where each customer segment sits within the marketing and adoption funnel.
  • Write clear, compelling creative briefs that provide cross-functional channel teams with the strategy, audience, messaging, and success metrics needed for execution.
  • Project-manage complex, multi-channel marketing campaigns from planning through launch.
  • Own campaign timelines, dependencies, stakeholders, deliverables, and launch readiness.
  • Support ongoing operational rhythms, including reporting to leadership and channel partners.
  • Maintain a single source of truth for strategy, messaging, and campaign performance.
  • Analyze marketing campaign performance against:
  • Activation
  • Revenue
  • Provide data-driven insights to inform strategic pivots and budget optimization.
  • Conduct A/B testing across messaging, creative, and landing pages to improve conversion among SMB and Mid-Market audiences.
  • Develop and maintain marketing materials, including collateral, presentations, and sales enablement tools.
  • Clearly communicate the unique benefits, capabilities, and features of Payments.
  • Leverage customer insights, product expertise, channel performance data, and competitive intelligence to improve product positioning, messaging, and claims.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of target markets and ICPs to identify new growth opportunities.
  • Monitor competitor activity and identify opportunities to differentiate Payments through stronger messaging.
  • Partner cross-functionally across marketing channels to execute campaigns with speed, consistency, and quality.
  • Support annual Payments targets for active merchant growth and TPV/revenue growth.
Required Qualifications
  • 5–8+ years of experience in Product Marketing strategy and cross-functional execution.
  • Demonstrated expertise in product positioning and messaging.
  • Proven ability to translate product capabilities into compelling:

  • Strong creative skills with the ability to elevate creative quality and provide constructive, craft-level feedback.

  • Highly analytical and comfortable working with multiple data sources to evaluate performance and ROI.
  • Experience with different testing methodologies, including A/B testing.
  • Ability to synthesize data and insights into recommendations that drive measurable growth.
  • Understanding of the SMB market.
  • Strong ownership, initiative, and accountability.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a highly cross-functional and matrixed organization.
  • Proven ability to take direction from senior leadership while independently owning execution of key initiatives.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-moving environment.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience within payments, fintech, or financial services.
  • Experience marketing products to SMB and/or Mid-Market customers.
  • Experience with lifecycle/ELM, paid media, in-product marketing, web, SEO/GEO, direct mail, accountant, and/or sales channels.
  • Experience developing GTM strategies based on Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs).
  • Experience marketing products against revenue, activation, consumption, or TPV-based performance goals.
