Job summary

ID.me seeks a Staff Product Manager to own the Wallet Authentication platform, shaping how 100M+ members stay secure and recover wallets across government, healthcare, and commercial services. You’ll own the full product lifecycle for authentication, including MFA, passkeys, APIs, and fraud prevention, partnering across teams to ship at internet scale.

You will set the vision for authentication, drive architectural discussions, and measure key success metrics.

Qualifications

7+ years of product management experience with authentication, identity or security platforms.
Deep knowledge of modern authentication protocols and security practices.
Experience shipping products with security and compliance dependencies.
Strong technical acumen and ability to lead architectural discussions.

Responsibilities

Define and own the roadmap for authentication flows, fraud prevention and wallet recovery.
Own first- and second-factor authentication including passwordless options.
Define requirements for secure API and agent authentication for integrations.
Translate threat intelligence into product requirements and governance.
Align engineering, security, support and GTM; communicate decisions to executives.
Define metrics and monitor first-factor pass rate, MFA adoption and recovery rates.
Drive data-driven prioritization and measure impact on the platform.
