ID.me is seeking a Staff Product Manager for the Wallet Authentication platform. In this role, you will oversee authentication strategies for over 100 million users across various sectors, ensuring secure access and recovery methods. Responsibilities include defining product roadmaps for authentication flows and fraud prevention. A minimum of 7 years in product management with expertise in modern authentication protocols is required. This position offers a competitive salary range of $214,935 — $253,000 USD and requires full-time in-office attendance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years owning authentication, identity, or security platform products.
• Deep working knowledge of modern authentication protocols such as OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect.
• Experience with API authentication patterns (API keys, OAuth client credentials).

Responsibilities

• Define and own the roadmap for authentication flows.
• Own first-factor and second-factor authentication including passwordless flows.
• Define requirements for secure authentication for API consumers and AI agents.
