Job summary

Stripe is seeking a Staff Product Manager for Revenue Recognition within the Office of the CFO. You will own strategy, roadmap, and collaboration with Finance, Data Science, and GTM teams to build trusted accounting products for Stripe Billing and Metronome.

You will work with controllers, accountants, and auditors to translate complex revenue scenarios into clear product requirements, while maintaining controls, audit trails, and explainability in every release.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of product management delivering complex or domain-intensive products.
• Experience building finance/accounting products with focus on accuracy and controls.
• Strong customer instincts translating domain needs into coherent products.
• Strategic judgment from ambiguity to execution with data-driven decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Define focused product strategy, market, and roadmap for Revenue Recognition.
• Collaborate with controllers, accountants, auditors, and partners to translate problems into requirements.
• Define how humans and agents configure policies, explain results, and ensure audit trails.
• Shape Stripe Billing and Metronome revenue recognition features for complex models.
• Build accurate, explainable products with traceability to source data and evidence.
• Take prototypes to scale, decide what to standardize, and integrate with ledgers and ERP.
