We are part of the Fintech organization that powers Intuit's money movement platform, enabling prosperity for customers across QuickBooks, Mailchimp, and TurboTax. The Risk Product team plays a crucial role in enabling Fintech Risk Management to detect and mitigate fraud, financial, and compliance risks. Our mission is to minimize the impact of these risks on our valued customers.

We are seeking a Staff Product Manager to join our team. This role will focus on leading the transformation of how customers experience money products, specifically within the context of Fintech compliance and underlying risk management. You will support our critical areas of focus: revolutionizing speed to benefit, infusing AI into our Fintech compliance and risk lifecycle end-to-end, and empowering our risk operations team to make high-quality decisions when human intervention is needed.

Your focus will be to build the strategy and roadmap to accelerate our mission to elevate Fintech compliance controls, scale risk operations with AI and automation, and reduce customer friction, all supporting our business growth. Our customers and partners are highly cross-functional, globally distributed, and technologically advanced. This role requires driving technical partnership, deep customer empathy, and specialized knowledge in Fintech compliance to deliver outstanding outcomes. Responsibilities

1. End-to-end ownership of initiatives to empower compliance policy and operation teams to mitigate Fintech compliance risk exposure by building robust customer and transaction monitoring, case investigation, and other relevant compliance capabilities.
2. Develop deep customer empathy and a detailed understanding of money movement products where Fintech compliance risks may occur and how they can be mitigated effectively.
3. Transform our compliance controls with scalable capabilities to serve a global audience, including areas like KYC/KYB processes, AML transaction monitoring, and adherence to regulatory requirements, integrating data across numerous sources to manage compliance risk and obligations.
4. Leverage customer insights and regulatory requirements to formulate a compelling platform vision, develop hypotheses, initiatives, and success metrics.
5. Build strong relationships with legal, compliance, product, engineering, risk policy, and operations teams to influence and align on compliance roadmaps.
6. Establish product delivery timelines in collaboration with development teams; communicate progress clearly across the organization.
7. Prioritize initiatives and drive work with a focus on process and tactical execution, ensuring high ROI on resources.
8. Exercise strong judgment in balancing risks, being entrepreneurial, hypothesis-driven, and analytical.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience with a focus on compliance within financial services or fintech.
• Proven domain knowledge in compliance regulations and best practices, especially in AML, Consumer Protection, or Sanctions screening.
• Experience with other money movement product compliance areas is a plus.
• Track record of defining and delivering products that address significant customer needs while meeting compliance standards.
• Ability to develop and champion product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with customer needs and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Strong stakeholder management skills in a cross-functional environment with a customer-focused approach.
• Undergraduate degree in computer science, finance, or a related field; an MBA is a plus; equivalent experience will be considered.
