Job summary

Abbott seeks a Staff Product Manager for the Enterprise AI Platform to own the platform roadmap, governance, and paved-road services enabling teams across the enterprise to build, deploy, and operate AI/ML systems securely and efficiently.

You will work with AI Product Managers, engineering teams, data scientists, and divisions to translate needs into platform capabilities, measure adoption, and ensure scalable governance across Abbott.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of product management experience, including managing platform, infrastructure, or developer-facing products.
• Hands-on PM for a platform or infrastructure product consumed by engineering teams.
• PM for an AI/ML platform (feature stores, model registries, agent-orchestration frameworks, evaluation/observability tooling).
• Strong technical depth to discuss model/agent registries, orchestration, evaluation frameworks, and governance in engineering planning.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong stakeholder-management skills across multiple internal consuming teams with competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Own the product roadmap for the AI Platform — the control plane and paved-road services (registry, orchestration, evaluation, observability, cost governance, guardrails).
• Gather and prioritize platform requirements from consuming teams across the enterprise.
• Define and evolve the paved road — self-service tooling, templates, and standards for AI/ML deployments with governance and observability.
• Act as the platform's product owner: maintain the backlog, write and prioritize platform requirements, represent the voice of consuming teams.
• Define and track adoption, satisfaction, and time-to-onboard metrics to steer the roadmap.
• Partner with Platform Engineering Lead and Platform/Solutions Architect to sequence platform investment against the Platform Roadmap.
