Job summary

Mariana Minerals is seeking a Staff Product Manager to own two CPOS components—MarianaEngineer and MarianaSuper—driving product strategy, roadmap, and execution across engineering and construction. You will bridge engineers, superintendents, project controls, and executives to embed AI into daily workflows.

You will be a hands-on domain expert, translating capital project processes into software, and shaping a world-class PM function at a rapidly innovating minerals-tech company.

Qualifications

• MustHave: 5+ years of experience in capital project engineering or construction/field execution.

Responsibilities

• Own the product vision, roadmap, and prioritization for MarianaEngineer and MarianaSuper, including agentic tooling such as engineering automation, reality capture, and plan-versus-actual intelligence.
• Serve as the primary domain expert translating capital project engineering and construction workflows into software requirements; bridge between engineers, superintendents, project controls, software engineers, and executives.
• Embed with engineering and field teams to understand how design and construction work happens, anticipate edge cases, and distinguish true requirements from preferences.
• Write clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and business rules; build and test prototypes to hone in on valuable products quickly.
• Build a structured user engagement model (discovery sessions, workflow reviews, sprint reviews, UAT, adoption check-ins) with feedback accountability.
• Develop rollout plans, training materials, adoption metrics, and feedback loops; track adoption barriers and resolve with leaders.
• Define and track success metrics: modeling/design turnaround, reality-capture adoption, plan-versus-actual accuracy, cycle time, outcomes.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives; maintain a well-prioritized backlog.
• Create visibility into what is being built, why it matters, and how it is performing.
• Help build the PM function at an AI company; join a small, early team shaping how we work.
