Muon Space is hiring a Staff Product Manager to own one to two product areas end-to-end. You will shape the roadmap, determine architecture, and drive productization across hardware, software, and data systems for long-term commercial impact.

You will collaborate with engineering, growth, and marketing to align strategic priorities with customer needs, while coordinating with leadership on multi-surface roadmaps and pricing strategies.

Competenze

• 8–10 years of Product Management experience owning complex, technically deep products that span hardware, software, and data systems.
• Track record of owning a large product area end-to-end including architectural, productization, and commercial decisions.
• Strong fluency with platform, infrastructure, and systems engineering leadership.
• Comfort operating as a Staff-level IC: making load-bearing decisions, writing crisp strategy documents, and driving alignment across senior stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or related technical field; advanced degree preferred.

Mansioni

• Own area strategy and multi-quarter roadmap for one to two large Muon product areas.
• Define reusable platform capabilities vs. mission-specific customization; shape architecture decisions.
• Sequence the roadmap to win near-term deals while building reusable value for future ones.
• Define success metrics and hold the organization accountable to them.
• Drive productization toward standardized, tiered offerings across areas.
• Define platform variants, interfaces, and options exposed to mission teams and customers.
• Set latency, availability, and throughput tiers end-to-end from downlink to delivery.
• Shape on-board high-performance compute roadmap and SDK surface for mission payloads; oversee instrument portfolio strategy.
• Run customer and user discovery; translate insights into roadmap decisions and productization experiments.
• Partner with Growth to analyze deals, identify gaps, and feed insights into product and engineering investments.
• Track competitive and tech trends relevant to your area.
• Collaborate with engineering, GTM, and Marketing on cross-area roadmaps and product positioning.
