Position Summary...

What you'll do...

As a Product Manager at Walmart, you will play a crucial role in bringing our digital products to life. You will be responsible for developing a product vision, strategy, and roadmap that aligns with corporate goals and objectives. Your role will involve leveraging research and data to ensure the product provides value to the business, understanding customer needs, and solving any problems that arise.

Responsibilities

1. Make Data Driven Product Decisions: Utilize product and feature analytics, data analysis tools, research, and industry best practices to support data analytics for products and features, including metrics like acquisition cost, conversion rate, active users, and customer satisfaction.
2. Drive Customer/Client Needs: Understand customer and business problems, conduct journey mapping, and deliver customer value while maintaining profitability. Build customer connections and address gaps in product experiences.
3. Maintain Product Roadmap and Development: Develop and communicate product roadmaps, manage backlogs, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to build products, including complex 0→1 products.
4. Create Product Vision and Strategy: Formulate long-term product visions, articulate problem statements, and guide teams in prototypes and go-to-market strategies.
5. Influence and Build Stakeholder Consensus: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, build professional networks, and influence decision-making.
6. Be Technically Oriented: Understand technology landscapes, architecture, and emerging trends. Drive technology design and feasibility discussions with engineering teams.

Minimum Qualifications

Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field and 7 years of product management experience.

Option 2: 9 years of experience in product management or related area.
