What you'll do...
As a Product Manager at Walmart, you will play a crucial role in bringing our digital products to life. You will be responsible for developing a product vision, strategy, and roadmap that aligns with corporate goals and objectives. Your role will involve leveraging research and data to ensure the product provides value to the business, understanding customer needs, and solving any problems that arise.
What you'll do…
- Make Data Driven Product Decisions: Requires knowledge of product and feature analytics, data analysis tools and techniques, research for analysis activities, documentation procedures (for example, data logs), and modern industry practices and emerging trends.
- Supports data analytics for a product/feature.
- Supports data collection and evaluation within assigned areas (e.g., acquisition cost, conversion rate, adoption, active users, feature usage, user churn, net promoter score, satisfaction, lifetime value).
- Drive Customer/Client Needs: Requires knowledge of customer and business problems, design thinking, dependencies and impacts on product processes/ways of working, journey mapping, process optimization, and communication and influencing techniques.
- Researches and verifies customer needs and expectations.
- Delivers customer value within profitability and other targets.
- Builds and maintains customer connections and solicits feedback.
- Creates customer journeys and identifies touchpoints.
- Addresses gaps/risks in product experiences.
- Simplifies and improves processes to drive satisfaction.
- Maintain Product Roadmap and Development: Knowledge of roadmap development techniques, project management (e.g., Agile, Scrum), MVP creation, product lifecycle, and concepts like "Crossing the Chasm".
- Builds and owns a product roadmap with proper phasing.
- Communicates with cross-functional partners and stakeholders.
- Explores resources and navigates organizational constraints.
- Builds stakeholder alignment.
- Manages backlog and priority decisions.
- Builds complex products from 0 to 1.
- Create Product Vision and Strategy: Knowledge of problem formulation, hypothesis framing, business strategies, customer segmentation, "Go to Market" strategies, industry trends, rapid prototyping, and lean methodologies.
- Owns simple customer problems and requirements.
- Assists in generating new ideas/products.
- Explores new areas for value creation using first principles.
- Articulates problem statements and hypotheses.
- Guides prototypes and communicates product vision and unit economics.
- Understands "Go-to-Market" levers for adoption.
- Influence and Build Stakeholder Consensus: Knowledge of communication styles, emotional intelligence, and relationship building.
- Communicates effectively in meetings with teams.
- Builds a professional network.
- Articulates results and recommendations.
- Listens actively and connects technical perspectives to product development.
- Be Technically Oriented: Knowledge of enterprise systems, cloud technologies, quality assurance, emerging trends, and product architecture.
- Understands InfoSec policies.
- Owns business and user acceptance testing.
- Represents technical requirements and drives design outcomes.
- Understands product architecture and technologies used.
- Leverages competitor insights and assesses feasibility and risks with engineering teams.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related and 11 years’ experience in product management.
- Option 2: 13 years’ experience in product management or related area.

Salary Range:
$130,000.00 - $260,000.00 plus bonuses and stock options.
