Job summary

Superhuman is hiring a Staff Product Manager to lead the Docs & Databases platform team, shaping how teams build living docs and central datasets. You will own the core database architecture, the formula language, and will partner with an elite engineering group to deliver scalable, high-impact features.

You will work in a dynamic hybrid model with a focus on user impact, performance, and developer-like accessibility, helping teams solve complex problems at scale.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product management experience, ideally including database, calculation, or performance work.
• Technical depth: can learn and understand technical systems to guide product behavior.
• Reasoning: balance flexibility with constraints for a consistent experience.
• Product sense: make tough decisions, seek feedback, manage stakeholders at all levels.
• Independent work: self-guided, manage priorities across projects and teams.
• Based in Seattle or San Francisco with travel for off-sites.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the product strategy and roadmap for Docs database and calculation platform, and the new Databases product.
• Shape new experiences for large-scale databases, including integration with new products.
• Own the powerful Superhuman formula language and calculation engine.
• Guide performance investments across the product.
• Partner with customers to push Docs and Databases capabilities to the extreme, uncovering new opportunities.
• Design experiences that make powerful capabilities approachable to a wide audience.
• Make decisions balancing user needs with technical constraints.
• Partner closely with a stellar engineering team.
