Job summary

Superhuman is seeking a Staff Product Manager to lead the Docs and Databases platform team. You will own the strategy and roadmap for Docs database, calculation platform, and the new Databases product, shaping experiences for large-scale datasets and integrating with new products.

Lead the Superhuman formula language, guide performance investments, and collaborate with customers and a top-tier engineering team to deliver rapid, impactful solutions.

Qualifications

• Has at least 8 years of product management experience, ideally including database, calculation, or performance work.
• Technical depth: can learn and understand technical systems to guide product decisions.
• Reasoning: balance flexibility with constraints for a performant experience.
• Product sense: tough decisions, seek feedback, manage stakeholders at all levels.
• Independent, proactive, cross-functional collaboration in fast-paced environments.
• Based in Seattle or San Francisco with occasional travel.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the product strategy and roadmap for Docs database and calculation platform, and the new Databases product.
• Shape new product experiences for large-scale databases, including integration with new products.
• Own the powerful Superhuman formula language and calculation engine.
• Guide performance investments across the product.
• Partner with customers pushing Docs and Databases capabilities to the extreme, to uncover and shape new opportunities.
• Design experiences that make the most powerful capabilities approachable to a wide audience.
• Make decisions that balance user needs with technical constraints.
• Partner closely with a stellar engineering team.
