Job summary

Superhuman Labs, Inc. is seeking a Staff Product Manager to lead the Docs & Databases platform team. You will own the core database architecture and calculation engine, shaping experiences to scale databases and integrate with new products.

You’ll partner with customers and engineers to drive strategy, trade-offs, and performance investments while guiding a team across product, design, and marketing to deliver impactful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Has at least 8 years of product management experience, ideally including database, calculation, or performance work.
• Technical depth to understand systems and guide product behavior.
• Reasoning to balance flexibility with constraints for a performant experience.
• Strong product sense with stakeholder management across levels.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently across multiple projects.
• Based in Seattle or San Francisco with occasional travel.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the product strategy and roadmap for Docs database and calculation platform, and the new Databases product.
• Shape new product experiences for large-scale databases, including integration with new products.
• Own the powerful Superhuman formula language and calculation engine.
• Guide performance investments across the product.
• Partner with customers pushing Docs and Databases capabilities to the extreme to uncover and shape opportunities.
• Design experiences that make powerful capabilities approachable to a wide audience.
• Make decisions that balance user needs with technical constraints.
• Partner closely with a stellar engineering team.
