Job summary

Databricks is seeking a senior product leader to own data security for the Lakehouse platform. You will drive policy development, control design, and customer-focused security features to meet privacy and regulatory requirements.

You will partner with privacy, legal, and security teams and align across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud, while influencing engineering and go-to-market partners to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product management experience in enterprise B2B or SaaS products.
• Domain expertise in data security, data privacy, and encryption.
• Ability to define success metrics and translate customer input into actionable requirements.
• Experience partnering with senior engineering leadership.
• Ability to influence across engineering, sales, marketing and customer success.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of data security for Databricks Lakehouse platform.
• Define and deliver external and internal controls for privacy, sovereignty and regulatory obligations.
• Create policy models to control access to customer assets.
• Partner with privacy, legal, and security to deliver anonymization, retention and residency.
• Provide expert guidance on evolving threats and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with cloud teams to harmonise security across Azure, AWS and Google Cloud.
