Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead data security for the Lakehouse platform. You will define strategy, build policy models, and enable customers to meet privacy, confidentiality, and regulatory requirements.

You will partner with privacy, legal, and security teams, work with cloud providers across Azure, AWS and Google Cloud, and simplify security for IT admins while driving business impact.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product management experience with enterprise B2B or SaaS products.
• Domain expertise in data security, data privacy, and encryption.
• Ability to define success metrics, summarize customer inputs into actionable requirements, and crisply communicate product value propositions.
• Experience partnering with senior engineering leadership and deep-diving into complex technical concepts.
• Experience driving business results through influential leadership across engineering, sales, marketing, solution architects and customer success.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of data security for the Databricks Lakehouse platform.
• Drive product strategy to identify, prioritize and deliver controls for privacy, confidentiality, and regulatory obligations.
• Create policy models enabling customers to control access to assets.
• Partner with cloud providers and support confidential compute across multiple clouds.
• Refine differences in customer experience and security technologies across Azure, AWS and Google Cloud.
