Job summary

Databricks in Washington state seeks a Senior Product Manager for Data Security to lead policy models, controls, and governance for the Lakehouse platform, coordinating with privacy, legal, and security teams.

You will translate customer inputs into actionable requirements, define success metrics, and partner with engineering leadership to deliver secure access across cloud providers, reporting to a Senior Director of Product Management.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product management experience in enterprise B2B or SaaS products.
• Domain expertise in data security, data privacy, and encryption.
• Accomplished senior product manager who can define and deliver success metrics and communicate product value propositions.
• Experience partnering with senior engineering leadership to deep-dive into complex technical concepts.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams including engineering, sales, marketing, solution architects and customer success.
• Passion for designing products that simplify the user experience of technically complex products.

Responsibilities

• Make security a market differentiator for enterprise and regulated industries.
• Help Databricks gain trust of CSO teams and qualify the Lakehouse platform for all data classes.
• Build a vision for a best-in-class network and data security policy model.
• Partner with privacy, legal, and security teams to deliver anonymization, retention, and residency for regulated data and sensitive assets.
• Deepen understanding of evolving threats and propose innovations or best practices from the industry.
• Partner with cloud providers and support confidential compute.
• Rationalize and refine differences in customer experience across Azure, AWS and Google Cloud.
