Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Senior Product Manager for data security, responsible for leading strategy and delivery of controls protecting customer data across the Lakehouse platform.

You will work with privacy, legal, and security teams to implement anonymization, retention, and residency for regulated data, while partnering with engineering leadership across multiple clouds to minimize risk and improve security posture.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product management experience with enterprise B2B or SaaS products.
• Domain expertise in data security, data privacy, and encryption.
• An accomplished senior product manager who defines success metrics and communicates product value to customers and sales teams.
• Experience partnering with senior engineering leadership and deep-diving into complex technical concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of data security for the Lakehouse platform and drive product strategy to deliver external and internal controls.
• Create policy models enabling customers to control access to assets and meet regulatory obligations.
• Collaborate with privacy, legal, and security teams on anonymization, retention, and residency for regulated data.
• Partner with cloud providers to normalize data security technologies across Azure, AWS and Google Cloud.
