Job summary

Crusoe seeks a Staff Product Manager for its Cloud Infrastructure team to own the storage product roadmap and shape how customers experience capacity, durability, and ease of use. You will work with engineers and SREs to translate customer needs into practical product strategy.

This customer-obsessed role requires you to collaborate across engineering, finance and exec teams, turning insights into a storage platform that scales with demand and differentiates Crusoe in the market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EE, CS, or related field.
• 5+ years of technical product management or product-minded engineering experience.
• Strong customer orientation with revenue and retention impact.
• In-depth understanding of cloud technologies (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
• Experience building and launching storage products (block, file, object).
• Proven ability to define and scope ambiguous, cross-functional initiatives with minimal guidance.
• Analytical mindset with data-driven decision making.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with cross-team influence.
• Direct experience with storage hardware, protocols, or file systems.

Responsibilities

• Build deep relationships with customers to understand storage needs.
• Own and prioritize storage roadmap across block, file, and object.
• Define roadmap for storage capabilities, including tiering, versioning, backup and restore, and lifecycle management.
• Partner with Infrastructure Engineering, Cloud Software Engineering, and SRE to define specs, timelines, and economics.
• Distill complex tradeoffs into clear narratives for leadership.
• Track industry trends in cloud storage and translate into opportunities.
• Collaborate with sales/marketing to position storage capabilities for customers.
• Create and maintain product documentation.
