Job summary
Crusoe is building the storage foundation for AI workloads, owning long-term architecture, vendor relationships, and capital allocation. You will define multi-year roadmaps across block, file, object, and archival storage, partnering with engineering teams to ensure scalable, cost-efficient infrastructure for hyperscale AI deployments.

Qualifications
- 8+ years of technical product management or infrastructure engineering with architecture-level outcomes.
- Storage subject matter expertise and credibility to operate with senior engineers.
- Strong understanding of hyperscale cloud storage architectures (block, file, object).
- Experience managing long-term vendor strategy and vetting internal storage investments.
- Grasp of infrastructure economics at scale (cost per usable TB).
- Analytical mindset to inform multi-year infrastructure decisions.
- Exceptional communication to translate tradeoffs for leadership.
Responsibilities
- Define the 2-4 year vision and roadmap for Crusoe's storage foundation (block, file, object, NVMe, archival).
- Own long-term storage architecture and hierarchy.
- Lead vendor management strategy and capital allocation for the storage stack.
- Set platform targets for performance, durability and capacity efficiency.
- Plan for AI-ready scale across larger clusters and fleet size.
- Identify and invest in architectural improvements to remove bottlenecks.
- Partner with Engineering and Architecture on major tradeoffs and requirements.
- Scout the industry for emerging storage technologies and vendors.
