Databricks is seeking a Staff Product Manager to own the Agentic Platform strategy, roadmap, and execution. You will work across agent runtime, MCP connectors, intelligence layer, and governance to accelerate production-grade agentic apps while ensuring security and reliability.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years on internal platform, infrastructure, or developer‑experience products.
• Deep experience building platforms that other teams build on; you understand API design, developer ergonomics, and self service.
• Demonstrated experience with AI/ML platforms, agent frameworks, LLM‑powered applications, or agentic systems.
• Strong technical foundation to read architecture diagrams, discuss trade offs with engineers (e.g., sync vs. async, checkpointing, context window management).
• Experience defining and shipping developer experiences: SDKs, CLIs, templates, documentation, and self service workflows.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives across 4+ teams without direct authority.
• Strong written communication strategy documents, PRDs, and executive briefs that drive VP/CIO alignment.
• Comfort with ambiguity, you will define the roadmap for capabilities that don’t exist yet.

Responsabilités

• Own the Agentic Platform strategy and roadmap: define what ships, order, and why with measurable criteria.
• Define and drive the agent and runtime: managed runtime, model gateway abstraction, governance, and guardrails.
• Build the MCP connector ecosystem: bidirectional connectors, identity propagation, dry-run/preview mode, connector SDK.
• Establish the intelligence layer: knowledge graph, context graph, and temporal memory with unified retrieval and traceability.
• Ship the evaluation and quality framework: offline eval, online LLM‑as‑judge scoring, and CI/CD gates.
• Design the developer experience: self‑service provisioning, environments, SDKs, templates, and documentation.
• Define the federation and adoption model across platform, domain, and citizen developer layers.
