Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer on the Agentic Applications team to deliver end-to-end applications that power our business and empower employees with assistive technologies. You will define the technical roadmap, design critical software systems, mentor junior engineers, and lead a team of skilled developers.

You will partner with product management, design, and other engineering teams to build AI-powered solutions, reduce technical risk, and drive engineering excellence

Qualifications

12+ years of software engineering experience with leadership impact.
3+ years of engineering leadership experience as technical owner.
Experience designing end-to-end, cloud-native applications.
Customer obsession and product mindset.
Strong communication and stakeholder influence.
History of raising engineering quality and execution.
Ability to collaborate across product, engineering, and business teams.
