The role:

As a Staff Product Manager within the Card Processing team, you will spearhead the product roadmap and drive the strategic execution for ourdebit card processing capabilities across all channels, with a critical focus on enabling scalable and robust processing solutions for Financial Institutions (FIs) of all sizes. This highly accountable role demands deep subject matter expertise in end-to-end debit card processing, encompassing card present (CP), card not present (CNP), and comprehensive ATM-initiated transactions (including on-us, off-us acquiring and issuing flows) alongside PIN pad-enabled interactions across all channels.

The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of managing stakeholder expectations, fostering seamless cross-functional collaboration with Sales, partners, engineering, operations, risk, compliance teams, and other product teams, and driving product delivery with demonstrable results. Prior experience with physical bank card processing infrastructure and expertise with EFT Payment switches is a significant advantage, indicating a strong understanding of the complexities within the financial ecosystem.

In this role you will be expected to independently interface and drive discussions and decisions with stakeholders from product, engineering, various business units and operations.

What you’ll do:

  • Prioritize and drive product backlogs with your dedicated and dependent engineering teams.
  • Understand complex business and operational requirements and break them down into epics and user stories for engineering teams.
  • Continuously monitor for opportunities, respond to production concerns, and provide innovative solutions that conform to high security standards while maintaining a delightful user experience.
  • Collaborate with various internal teams such as infrastructure, networking, security, compliance, relationship managers, and external teams like payment card networks to build seamlessly integrated solutions.
  • Be the voice of the customer, understand their pain points, and work with various internal team members to provide a complete solution.
  • Work with internal project stakeholders from marketing, sales, and operations to translate customer needs into meaningful products while leading go-to-market activities like client communication and pricing strategy.
  • Lead in a fast-paced, agile, multi-country, dynamic environment.

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher with a technical discipline and 8+ years of product management experience OR
  • An advanced degree or an MBA with a BS or higher in Computer Science preferred, and 8+ years of product management experience.
  • Domain knowledge of ATM networks, Banking infrastructure, debit card processing, and reconciliation services.
  • Prior experience managing system integrators.
  • Exposure to mobile and digital wallet processing is a plus.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage trade-offs, and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with internal and external partners.
  • Highly organized and capable of helping teams navigate ambiguity and execute with confidence.
  • Ability to work with remote teams.

The base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, and location.
