Job description

Position: Staff Product Manager

Location: 100% remote - must reside in the United States

Compensation: $80-95/HR

Employment Type: 3+ month contract

Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

What You Bring & How You Qualify

You are passionate about using technology to improve outcomes for patients, members, or customers and measure success by the impact your products have on the people who rely on them. You thrive in ambiguity and bring clarity, sound judgment, and forward momentum to complex challenges. You're comfortable questioning the status quo, making difficult decisions, and advocating for the right outcomes even when it requires pushing back on stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of product management experience, preferably within healthcare, care delivery, health technology, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Demonstrated success owning a workflow-intensive product area from strategy through launch, adoption, and optimization.
  • Experience delivering AI-driven or automation capabilities for operational users, with measurable improvements in efficiency, productivity, or outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of AI applications, limitations, evaluation methods, risk mitigation, and appropriate human-in-the-loop processes.
  • Experience building task management, case management, workflow orchestration, work queue, routing, communication, or messaging solutions.
  • Proven ability to redesign operational processes for scale, rather than simply digitizing existing workflows.
  • Track record of influencing senior stakeholders and effectively balancing competing priorities to drive business outcomes.
  • Experience leading platform migrations, modernization initiatives, or transitions away from legacy systems while minimizing disruption.
  • Strong systems-thinking and data-modeling skills, with the ability to partner closely with engineering teams on complex product solutions.
  • Ability to excel in fast-paced, high-growth environments where priorities evolve quickly.
  • Experience mentoring and developing other product managers.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, including executive-level communication.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with care management platforms, healthcare operations systems, CRM/workflow platforms, or EHR-integrated solutions.
  • Experience serving Medicaid, Medicare, value-based care, population health, or other complex healthcare delivery models.
  • Experience building or scaling LLM-powered products in regulated, healthcare, financial services, or similarly compliance-focused environments.
  • Background in operational workflow optimization, care coordination, customer service operations, or case management systems.
