Job summary

Raydar is seeking a Member of Technical Staff (Product Engineer) to own new products from concept to MVP and scale existing ones. The role is full-time and onsite in San Francisco's SOMA office, with relocation not provided.

You will work across the full stack with a backend focus, collaborating with product managers, designers, and customers to connect technical decisions with user needs. TypeScript, Python, and React are core tools.

Qualifications

• Experience as a full-stack or backend software engineer with ownership of MVPs.
• Proven ability to deliver customer-facing MVPs end-to-end.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with product and design teams.
• Comfortable working onsite five days a week in San Francisco.

Responsibilities

• Scale products from initial adoption toward hundreds of thousands of users.
• Explore insurance workflows, run experiments, and ship MVPs quickly.
• Help merge individual products into a self-serve platform.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and customers to align tech decisions with user needs.
