Qualifications

• 8+ years designing complex B2B SaaS products and operating above a single product team.
• Owns or significantly shapes a design system (component strategy, documentation, adoption).
• Experience with token-based design systems and cross-domain libraries (Figma/Storybook).
• Background at a design-forward, product-led company recognized for design as a differentiator.
• Proven ability to manage ambiguous, cross-team initiatives autonomously from problem framing to execution.
• Strong track record mentoring designers and shaping team practices.
• Excellent communication skills with product and engineering leadership.

Responsibilities

• Quality Bar: define great surfaces and build standards that scale with AI-generated UI.
• Design System Stewardship: drive direction, quality, and adoption of the system.
• Strategy & Vision: contribute to product strategy and drive vision with leads.
• Complex System Design: tackle information architecture and shared components.
• Research Leadership: lead qualitative and quantitative studies informing decisions.
• Mentorship & Guild Leadership: coach designers and lead process improvements.
• Storytelling & Influence: clearly communicate rationale to cross-functional and exec teams.
