Job summary

Félix is hiring a senior product designer to define how we design with generative and declarative UI on WhatsApp, then extend to native surfaces as the platform scales. You will lead discovery across squads, shape conversation patterns, and own the v1 experience from concept through delivery, while ensuring compliance and a strong user experience.

The role centers on building a declarative, AI-assisted UI that adapts in real time across surfaces.

Qualifications

• 8+ years designing consumer products with a high bar for craft, including two years leading design on a conversational or AI-native product.
• Track record of leading discovery across product teams and turning it into direction they adopted.
• Hands‑on experience with declarative UI: components as structured specs that engineers instantiate; bonus for generative UI.
• Range from pixel to strategy; defend tradeoffs to non-designers.
• Deep Figma fluency and ability to prototype in code; at least two mobile products shipped end to end.
• Fluency with AI as a creative partner to amplify craft, not shortcut it.
• Portfolio link required; include at least one conversational or generative UI project.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery across products to identify why users stop after a first send and where conversations lose them.
• Define design with generative and declarative UI and set patterns for v1, then harden them.
• Ship v1 on WhatsApp and extend patterns to native iOS and Android.
• Shape the conversation so products coexist in one thread and context remains clear.
• Land direction for Credit, Core Send, Activations, and others; critique in the medium and adjust when constraints teach you something.
• Treat compliance as design material with disclosures and consent integrated into the conversation.
