Job summary

Reddit, Inc. is seeking a Staff Product Designer to shape experience architecture across Presence initiatives and drive scalable design systems. You will collaborate with product, engineering, research, and senior leaders to define direction and create tangible prototypes using AI-assisted tools.

You will mentor designers, raise the bar on interaction design, and help Reddit evolve with AI-native design practices, ensuring accessibility and consistency across platforms.

Qualifications

• 8 to 10+ years of product design experience in consumer technology.
• Strong systems thinking and platform-level experience.
• Exceptional interaction design and information architecture.
• Comfort navigating ambiguity and balancing long-term vision with near-term execution.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders without direct authority.
• Experience using AI-assisted design or coding tools to prototype ideas.
• Portfolio demonstrating Staff-level thinking and meaningful impact.

Responsibilities

• Define UX strategy and experience architecture across multiple Presence initiatives.
• Shape foundational experiences across identity, profiles, Reddit Pro, and emerging product areas.
• Turn ambiguous opportunities into clear product direction, scalable frameworks, and compelling experiences.
• Use AI-assisted design and coding tools to create functional prototypes that accelerate decisions.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Research, Content Design, and senior leaders to influence product direction.
• Mentor designers and help evolve how the team approaches systems thinking, craft, and AI-native design.
