Job summary

Talkiatry is seeking a Staff Product Designer to shape mental health care experiences across AI-enabled and core patient-facing products. You will lead design across Clinical AI experiences, patient portal flows, and the design system, partnering with product, engineering, clinical care, and AI teams.

You will craft intuitive, trustworthy experiences, mentor designers, and evolve the design system to scale across web and mobile. This is a remote role within the United States.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product design experience across AI-enabled and traditional product spaces.
• Portfolio demonstrating strong product thinking, interaction design, and visual/UI craft.
• Experience designing rich web and native mobile products.
• Ability to work autonomously in ambiguous or zero-to-one spaces.
• Experience in trust-centric, transparent user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead product design across AI experiences, patient portals, and design system evolution.
• Design AI-powered experiences from concept through launch and iteration.
• Define interaction patterns for emerging technologies and establish design precedents.
• Improve core patient portal flows for access and navigation of care.
• Translate AI capabilities into intuitive, trustworthy experiences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape product strategy.
• Prototype and test patterns to learn quickly and reduce risk.
• Lead evolution of Talkiatry's design system and craft quality.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to validate decisions.
