Job summary

DoorDash is seeking a Staff Product Designer for the Support Design team. You will shape the end-to-end support journey—across customer, dasher, and merchant touchpoints—by delivering high-fidelity designs and production-ready prototypes, with a focus on multi-modal experiences and internal tooling.

You will mentor peers, promote responsible AI use, and collaborate with engineering and product management in a hybrid New York City setting, 1–2 days on-site weekly.

Qualifications

• Portfolio showing craft excellence, systems thinking, and leadership through influence.
• Experience with code editors and LLM-powered tools; prototyping in production.
• Ability to influence, design, and build solutions across teams and workflows.
• Background in high-growth consumer tech or complex marketplace products.

Responsibilities

• Define projects with a clear point of view; synthesize inputs into roadmap milestones.
• Turn ambiguous problems into actionable work; balance design quality, speed, impact.
• Shape projects from concept through execution with high-fidelity designs.
• Design multi-workflow solutions and contribute reusable tooling frameworks.
• Build relationships across teams; mentor on responsible AI and live prototypes.
• Grow team capacity through mentorship, recruiting, and inclusive practices.
