OpenSea seeks a Staff Product Designer to shape how users discover, trade, and interact with digital assets. You will partner with engineers and designers to deliver high-quality experiences, evolve our design system, and push AI-enabled workflows to boost team effectiveness.

You will own complex problems, craft mobile-first solutions, and guide product strategy with strong visual craft and communication across teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product design experience across consumer and platform products.
• Ability to own complex, ambiguous problem spaces and deliver elegant solutions.
• Strong product sense with strategic thinking in a lean org.
• Extensive experience designing mobile-first products with polished UX.
• Exceptional visual and interaction design, meticulous attention to detail.
• Experience building or maintaining design systems and libraries.
• Collaborates closely with engineers to ship high-quality designs.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to improve design quality and efficiency.
• Breadth across UI, UX, motion, with strong aesthetics.
• Excellent communication and storytelling to align cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead design initiatives from concept through launch with engineers and designers.
• Translate design thinking into product development with consistency and clarity.
• Refine ideas into actionable design directions through research and prototyping.
• Create end-to-end experiences across mobile and web balancing needs and goals.
• Evolve the design system to raise quality, consistency and velocity.
• Explore AI-enabled workflows that improve team effectiveness.
• Communicate design rationale clearly across disciplines.
• Help shape OpenSea's design culture through craft and collaboration.
